Nathan Craven: Ace at Reimagining Use Of Ceramic Materials
The interest Nathan is getting interest from architects and designers for his intriguing designs in ceramic “bricks” is well deserved.
Ceramic artist Nathan Craven takes the term fitting in to an entirely different level of meaning with his ceramic installations that make you re-imagine what to do with floors and walls.
After earning an MFA in ceramics from RISD Nathan dedicated himself to a the two-year residency at the Archie Bray Foundation in Helena, Montana, followed by a Roswell Artist In Residence program in New Mexico. Pretty impressive.

Nathan creates small individual shapes created from extruded clay. I think this is genius!

Nathan grew up in Utah and found his passion for ceramics when he took a high school ceramics class.
The Process

Voila! The installation.
